The play, which begins in the very idealistic Chicago arts scene of the ‘90s, is about the evolution of a punk rocker to MAGA strategist and its impact on his bewildered old group of friends. That includes the main character, Madge, an artist who struggles between loyality to him and to her eternal-grad student leftist husband, to be able to attain her ultimate goal in life: central air.
